Before You Ship
Prep your console
These steps will prevent annoying pop up messages when you launch games:
 
1. If you have Automatic Save-Data Backups enabled on your switch, disable it. You can view how here.
 
2. If you have your console registered as a Pass-enabled Console, deregister it. You can view how here.
 
What to Include
1. Contact information sheet with:
Your full name
Order number
What you ordered (modchip install, screen protector, SD card add, etc.)
 
 
What NOT to Include
Joy-Con controllers (unless specifically requested for customization)
SD Cards (unless you want software set up)
Charging cables or dock
Game cartridges
Cases/shells/carrying cases
Any personal accessories
Stickers or installed screen protectors are okay

Materials You'll Need
Small cardboard box (sized to fit wrapped console snugly)
Bubble wrap, packing paper, or newspaper/grocerybags
Packing tape
Shipping label
Step-by-Step Packing Process
Prepare the Console
Power off your Nintendo Switch completely
If you have cloud saves or pass-enabled turned on, turn it off. (view top of page)
If your console is new, complete the initial set up
Power off your console by holding the power button then selecting power options, then power off
Wrap your Switch in bubble wrap or packing paper
Create a firm protective layer approximately as thick as the console itself
Secure with tape, ensuring the wrapping won't come loose
Use a small box that fits the wrapped console snugly (large boxes are much more expensive to ship. Small amazon boxes work great. 
The box should be just large enough for the wrapped console with minimal extra space
Add Your Information Sheet
Place your information sheet in the box with the console
Seal the Box
Pack any remaining space with foam, bubble wrap, packing paper, or grocery bags so that the console does not shift around in the box
Close the box and seal all edges with packing tape
Attach the label by taping along each edge so it will not snag or rip
 

How do we know it made it to you safe?
Once the shipper confirms it was delivered, check the Track Your Order page using your order number. We typically pick up packages and update the queue in 24-48 hours (not including weekends or holidays). If it does not show up in 2 business days, feel free to contact me.
